Weekly Bulletin

The Weekend of November 2, 2025

All Saints Sing

As in the past couple of years, we are invited to assemble with other like-minded believers in the Stillwater area to gather and worship as "The Body" on October 31.  This event will take place rain, snow, or shine starting at 5:30pm in Lowell Park next to the river in downtown Stillwater!

Daylight Saving Time Ends

We "fall back" this weekend.  If you have any old-fashioned clocks that need to be done by hand, do it before you go to bed Saturday night...no one wants to be early for church on Sunday!!

Mark Buitendag Speaking

We had him scheduled back in April, but stuff comes up and it didn't work out that time so we've scheduled Mark Buitendag again for Sunday morning, November 2 at our 9:30am service!

First Wednesday Worship

This week there will be no regular Wednesday night classes for our First Wednesday Worship night!  This time we'll be meeting at Glory Church in Lakeland, MN (44 St. Croix Tr. S., Suite 250) at 6:30pm for an evening of worshipping our Lord!

Encouraging and Equipping Women

Please join us Saturday morning, November 22 at 9:30 for breakfast together and a time of connection. If you have not yet had the opportunity to join us, we would love to see you!!

This is an opportunity for all the women of RVCC to meet together, enjoy breakfast, and connect with one another in a significant way outside of a Sunday morning. Through enriching discussion, encouragement, and personal testimony, the goal is to walk out Titus 2:3-5 with older women teaching what is good, and training younger women in a variety of roles. Our focus is encouragement for the current challenges we face, and open discussion and sharing.

ALL women are encouraged to attend; singles, young married women, young mothers, seasoned mothers, empty nesters, and older women are all encouraged to come! We need the full spectrum, or we’ll forfeit the Titus 2 purpose. This is a “Mom’s Only” event, but nursing babies are always welcome.

This group will meet at Renae J's home north of Stillwater. Breakfast will be served promptly at 9:30am. Contact the church office for address/directions, or more information.

2025 Women's Christmas Tea

Our Women's Christmas Tea is coming up quickly!  Join us Saturday morning, December 6 at 11am with special guest Mindi Shipley from our sister RVFM church The River Bible Church in Winona, MN, where she ministers along with her husband, Pastor Matt Shipley.

Mindi accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age 5 growing up in a Nazarene Christian family in Nebraska.  She has a Behavioral Science degree from Hardin-Simmons University, a Baptist affiliated college with a major in Fine Art. Matt and Mindi married in 2012 and lived in Ohio for a short time before moving back to Texas where they had lived most of their adult lives.
They pastored for a short time in Texas teaching the grace and faith message until God led them to attend Charis Bible College. They took classes online until God led them to move to Colorado and attend classes at the Woodland Park campus.
After graduating from Charis, they participated in the RVFM internship in Wisconsin. During that internship, God spoke very clearly to Matt and Mindi to pastor The River Bible Church, and in September 2024, Pastor Jon installed them as pastors of the church. Mindi currently leads the women’s fellowship, assists with the children’s church, helps lead Bible Studies and enjoys building relationships.

Seating is limited, and fills up quickly, so get signed up.  There is a sheet to do so at the Info Center.  Ladies 13+ are invited to attend.  Contact the church office with questions.

Week Devoted to God

Mark your calendars for our Week Devoted to God, at a new time this year, the first week of February.  There will be prayer meetings during the day, and services in the evenings each night.  We'll advertise the full schedule when we get closer to the actual event.

Download Our App!

Download our RVCC church app from your app store today!  There's all sorts of features, and we're tweaking it to make it even more helpful as a way to stay connected.  Service video is streamed there as well as on our YouTube channel.  There are groups for communicating and chatting with others in the RVCC family, and much more!  Search for "RVCC Lake Elmo" or CLICK HERE.

Diaper Donations

We are always accepting diaper and wipes donations for Options for Women-St. Croix Valley. As a church we're not anti-abortion but PRO-LIFE, and try to back that up by helping out mothers who choose life for their child. This is an easy way to do that. Organizationally we support Options with a monthly monetary donation, but diapers are one item they always need to help support the mothers relying on their services. Whenever you are shopping and pick some up, drop them off with Pastor Greg the next time you come to RVCC and he will make sure they get to OFW. According to their website, the most needed supplies right now are size 5 & 6 diapers, wipes, diaper ointment, and baby lotion and wash.

Elders Ministry

If you would like to connect with one of our Elders for any reason during the week, contact the church office and we'll get you in touch!

2025 Daily Bible Reading Plan

One of our top goals as a church is always to help you keep up on (or get into) a daily Bible reading habit.
As a church body on January 1, 2025 we started a 1-year Bible reading plan! The plan we are following this year is "The Bible in a Year", with readings from OT and NT every day, and a chapter from Psalms or Proverbs every second day.
Connect with us and access this plan in the YouVersion Bible App to get notifications for the day's reading directly from the app. (Future plans should be available within our church app!  That will be nice, huh?)
Get into the daily habit now, even if it's not this particular program! We want you to get the WORD in YOU! Contact Pastor Greg in the church office if you have questions.
