Pastors & Staff

Meet the Pastors and Staff of RVCC!

At the heart of our church is a dedicated team of pastors and staff who serve with joy, integrity, and a passion for helping others experience the love of Christ. Whether through preaching, worship, children’s ministry, administration, or behind-the-scenes support, each person plays a vital role in our mission to love how He loves.

Our pastors lead with vision and care, teaching God’s Word faithfully and guiding the church with spiritual wisdom. Our staff team works diligently to create a welcoming, organized, and Spirit-filled environment where everyone can grow in their relationship with God and one another.

We are here to serve, support, and walk with you—no matter where you are in your journey of faith.

Jon Neitzell

Senior Pastor

Jon has been the lead pastor of River Valley Christian Church for 21 years. His desire is to see the Kingdom of God forcefully advance in the St. Croix River Valley and around the World by “Training up the saints to do the work of the ministry”.

In addition to his pastoral role, he is deeply involved in the mission of RVFM (River Valley Fellowship of Ministries) www.rvfm.info , where he serves as President. It’s a platform where his passion for church planting finds its expression. For him, the journey of planting churches is not just a duty but a profound calling to see a network of 24 churches established, beginning in the St. Croix River Valley, by the end of 2027.

He and his wife Debbie have been married for over 36 years, they have built their lives centered on faith, love, and commitment. Family holds a special place in their hearts. Their son and daughter-in-law Ethan and Alyssa and their daughter Talitha, are not only sources of pride but also pillars of support in their life’s journey. Welcoming their first grandchild into their lives has added an extra layer of joy.

Beyond his Pastoral and Church Planting duties, Jon has delved into the realm of writing. His book, “The Time Between Times”, is a reflection on faith, life, and the moments between when God says He’s going to do something and the time He actually does it. It’s an exploration of the spaces between significant events, where growth and transformation unfold.

In all aspects of his life, his relationship with God remains the guiding force. Whether preaching from the pulpit, guiding the RVFM initiatives, or enjoying precious moments with his family, he strives to live out the values that exemplify the life and love of God.

Peter Molnar

Executive Pastor/Missions Coordinator/Young Adult Minister

Peter has been the Foreign Missions and Outreach Coordinator at River Valley Christian Church (RVCC) since 2015. RVCC has been heavily involved in extensive mission work in Eastern Europe for the last couple decades. Peter grew up in Hungary, then moved to the United States to attend college at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and receive a degree in International Business and Marketing. During his college years, he had the opportunity to go on multiple missions trips (back in his neck of the woods) in Eastern Europe. During a trip to one of the impoverished gypsy villages of Romania, he bumped into one of RVCC’s missions team. Through this God-appointed connection, Peter was able to start helping RVCC with their vision in Eastern Europe by interpreting, coordinating and leading missions teams.

Post graduation, Peter felt called into full-time ministry and ended up attending Charis Bible College in Minneapolis to receive a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies.
In 2019, Peter met and married his future wife, Kayla Molnar. Kayla is originally from River Falls, Wisconsin. She graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Music Education degree and has been on multiple missions trips to a variety of Hispanic countries, South Africa, and India. Kayla loves volunteering at RVCC, leading worship and being involved with mission work in any way she can.

Today, Peter and Kayla live in North Hudson, WI raising their two young beautiful daughters, Esther and Haven. Peter and Kayla are also extensively involved with other pastoral and ministry leadership duties around RVCC. They love pastoring the young adults of our community, sowing into the lives of our future generation.

Greg Hamm

Assistant Pastor

Greg is RVCC’s “Pretty Face at the Front Desk.” He takes care of most of the communications and promoting events, and other “office-y” things. If you, “Contact the church office” it’ll more than likely be him that takes care of you. He does most of the traditional “Church Lady” stuff…but he’s not very lady-like!

He takes his Faith seriously, but not himself so much. He also doesn’t think that taking his faith seriously means it has to be somber and boring. He’s known for wearing kilts, riding motorcycles (although not usually at the same time), participating in the Stillwater Lumberjack Days Downhill Derby, and (hopefully) trying to love his neighbor as himself.

He’s been told he’s not a full-blown nerd, but definitely has tendencies. Greg grew up in Southern Indiana on sci-fi and fantasy, rock-and-roll, and cornbread. Out of high-school he enlisted in the Army, graduated from Oral Roberts University, been a radio DJ, factory worker, a mailman, and rode the back of a garbage truck for half a day as a temp-worker.

Greg loves his wife and two kids more than everything in the world except maybe bacon, and he’d share the last of that with them if they asked nicely.

Shiloh Goodwin

Children's Pastor/Youth Pastor/Media Manager

Shiloh started working at River Valley Christian Church in 2021 as the Children’s pastor. In 2023 he also took on the role of Youth pastor. Shiloh grew up in the church, both attending and volunteering for children’s and youth ministry. Shiloh attended St. Olaf College from 2016-2020 and received his bachelors in Religion and Family studies. While in school, Shiloh led his teammates and youth in the community in a weekly bible study. He continued his education by attending Charis Bible College in Minneapolis and received an Associate of Biblical Studies degree. Shiloh worked as an intern for RVCC while attending Charis and now pastors in the same church he grew up in.

While in college, Shiloh reconnected with Audrey Lefto who was part of a friend group that started in elementary school. After both graduated college, they got married in November 2020. Audrey graduated from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul Summa Cum Laude with her bachelors in Applied Mathematics and Biblical Studies. Audrey grew up in Stillwater and loves that we are able to minister to the community she grew up in. Audrey loves to help out with the youth and the woman’s ministry.

Shiloh and Audrey live in Stillwater, MN with their beautiful daughter, Selah, and their dog, Maverick. They love spending time out on the golf course and having bonfires with their friends.

Jamie Blanchard

Worship Leader

For over 14 years, Jamie Blanchard has been the heart and soul of the worship ministry at River Valley Christian Church. Her journey in worship ministry began at 16 years old, followed by ten years of dedicated volunteering both in youth worship and Sunday morning teams. In 2005, she graduated from the New Life School of Worship and in 2010 she was appointed as the Worship Ministry Director at RVCC. Jamie furthered her studies and graduated in 2022 from Charis Bible College. With a passion for nurturing talent and fostering genuine hearts turned towards Jesus in worship, Jamie has been instrumental in shaping the musical landscape of the church.

Jamie’s vision for the Worship Ministry at RVCC is clear: to create an environment where worship is authentic, heartfelt, and transformative. Her commitment to Jesus and her desire to facilitate genuine connection with Him define her purpose. Through mentorship and unwavering dedication, Jamie strives to help others encounter a real and living God and genuine worship of His worthy name.

In addition, she has a strong desire to build worship teams who will serve the Lord in church plants. Multiple teams have been started and launched into ministry via new church plants in the last few years. Jamie’s role extends beyond the confines of her church; she actively mentors worship leaders within the River Valley Fellowship of Ministries (a collection of churches via church planting), ensuring a ripple effect of inspiration and devotion to worshiping Jesus.

Jamie resides with her family in Andover, MN. Newly married in 2023, Jamie and her husband Michael are enjoying their new beginnings as they pursue the deeper things of The Lord together.
